AutoDesktop
AutoDesktop is a market-leading sales system in Denmark. More than half of all new cars sold in Denmark and a third of the professional used car market are made through AutoDesktop.
In many ways, the system is a powerful tool for car importers with many unique opportunities for, among other things, tracking the effectiveness of marketing investments.
For example, prices for brand new cars can be made available to the network’s car dealers. Addons in terms of extra equipment and service contracts can also be created in the system, making it possible to increase additional sales.
For instance, leads from an online campaign or directly from the brand’s website, can be fed directly into AutoDesktop, ensuring effective follow-up and reporting capabilities down to each individual lead.
In addition, activity data is accumulated, providing a good overview of the overall activity level. The number of test drives gives an early indication of the success of ongoing campaigns, allowing for adjustments if the results do not meet expectations.

Creating an easy overview
Data can be displayed in a Business Intelligence system (BI), so car importers easily can get an overview of the car dealer network’s activities.
The BI system also displays car brands, models and vehicle powertrains amongst other things. With this information provided, you easily see, what type of vehicles are selling right now and get an instant snapshot of what is happening in the market.
This provides an overview and allows you to see, if the marketing money that you spend has the intended effect and results. It also allows you to set goals and see if the different departments or car dealers meet them – so departments can learn from each other.
AutoDesktop also supports the agency model, where invoicing is done centrally, and the car dealers handle all practical aspects related to the delivery of the car.
